I learned something the hard way the other day: lids on honey containers don’t always stay on very well. While making this recipe, I was pouring the honey into the bowl to mix everything together. As I’m pouring, suddenly there’s a loud ‘POP’ sound, and the lid falls right into my bowl of ingredients. I was able to retrieve it without ruining the sauce, but couldn’t salvage the lid and had to waste some honey. So, the lesson learned is not to trust lids just because they feel like they’re on securely!
Sweet Paprika Chicken
Chicken, boneless, skinless, best in tenders or nuggets
1 tbsp. Paprika
½ cup Honey
1 tbsp. Mustard
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Mix the paprika, honey and mustard in a bowl until well mixed.
Season your chicken lightly with salt and pepper to taste. Place in a baking dish.
Pour sauce over the chicken, then cook for about 45 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
