Pizza Crepes for Kids
We’re in the last full week of my kids’ almost three week break from school. As fun as it’s been being able to spend more time together, it’s also a bit stressful and hectic, to say the least. One aspect is that they’re getting bored with the same ol’ lunches – so I decided to switch it up and try something new! These tasty Pizza Crepes for Kids are such an easy recipe for busy moms, but sure to please your whole bunch. My kids are already asking when we can have them again!
Ingredients
- Crepes – you can use our simple crepe recipe HERE
- Pizza Sauce
- Cheese
- Toppings: pepperoni, olives, pineapple, ham, veggies, etc.
Directions
- Take each crepe and spread some pizza sauce inside. Sprinkle with cheese, then top with your favorite toppings.
- Roll it up, serve and enjoy!
I told you it was easy! The hardest/most time consuming part is just making the crepes, which isn’t really a big deal at all. I love super simple recipes that my kids will enjoy!
The timing for this kid-friendly lunch was perfect, as the weather here in Texas is freezing (at least for us – it’s barely 20 degrees today!) and the kids are mostly stuck inside. We cooked up these pizza crepes, had fun ‘building’ the pizzas together, and even warmed up a pot of hot cocoa. Yum!
I think next time we’ll try a grilled cheese crepe, possibly with some ham in there. THAT sounds like a winner, too!
What toppings would YOUR kiddos like on their pizza crepes?
