I’m sure you’ve all realized how much my girl LOVES arts and crafts. She’s a true creative at heart! We try our best to help her develop her talent and passion, but have never had a chance to let her take a dab at pottery – until now, that is. She loved forming some creative projects on the turntable, and we’re happy that she’s learning a new way to let her artistic capabilities show. If your kid loves being creative, Let Them be Pottery Cool!
I use to think pottery was just too difficult to do at home, that you needed an art studio or fancy spinning equipment. Thank goodness I was wrong, because Black Widow sure loves it! With Pottery Cool Studio, it’s easy for her to design and craft clay projects, putting a new ‘spin on creativity’. Yes, it’s real pottery that the kids can actually do themselves. They might need a little guidance just to get started, but then let them craft on their own because it’s so easy to use – and easy to clean up (my favorite part!).
While the Pottery Cool Studio, found quickly at Walmart.com, has some instructions for COOL stuff that tweens can really use – such as fun smartphone speakers, a monkey pencil topper, cupcake pencil holder and so much more – it can be used to create whatever their artistic selves desire! Black Widow gave it a whirl, and instantly loved forming the clay on the spinning table…
After playing for awhile with it, she decided to start with on of the Pottery Cool Studio projects – a turtle jewelry holder! Yup, I was pretty excited – y’all know I love turtles 🙂
I was worried the clay would need to be baked, but nope – the clay disks can be air dried. Told you they made it easy! If they need help, there’s some fun videos on YouTube they can check out…
Once my girl’s project was dry, she really had a blast painting and designing her turtle! She even made a little ‘turtle egg’ to go with it.
The Pottery Cool Studio really is the perfect gift for letting your young artist explore their creative side. She can’t wait to make her next project – and there’s no limit to what it can be!
