How many of you made resolutions to eat healthier this year? Now how many of you have gotten a bit off-track with that? Between an insanely busy schedule and a recent (yet amazing) blogger conference on a cruise, I definitely fell off the wagon with my goal! Luckily, it’s never too late to get back to it, and now it’s even easier with these Quick Healthy Snack Ideas and Printable Eating Tracker!
Last year, I noticed a major difference in my health (and waistline), and was determined to take charge of my eating habits this year to fix that! I started out pretty good, but once I got really busy with a conference and such, it was all downhill and I’ve gotten WORSE instead of better with my habits! I won’t let myself get discouraged, though, because it’s never too late for me to try again, especially with simple changes.
Snacking was a major problem area for me, but I’ve been doing great this week since I grabbed some of these Hillshire™ H Snacking Small Plates and Chicken Bites at Target! They’re just right by the lunchmeat type stuff along the wall, super easy to find.
I love the selection of flavors they have, with various salami and cheese options in the Snacking Small Plates, and delicious dipping sauces for the Chicken Bites such as Teriyaki, Honey Mustard and more. Tasty!
They come nice and portable, so I can take one as we’re racing to dance lessons for a quick pick-me-up. They’re high in protein, giving me the energy I need to keep up with the kiddos better.
Along with grabbing amazing and healthy snacks, I used the Jingit app on my phone to get some money back on my purchase. If you haven’t used this before, it’s GREAT and has so many saving opportunities and cash-back offers! Go download it HERE. There’s even a map icon in the corner so you can find nearby locations where the offer is available. Easy peasy! Here’s how to use it….
- Log in to Jingit on your phone. Select the store (Target) then the offer (Hillshire™ Snacking).
- Go in to each offer (Snacking Plates $1 cash back and Chicken Bites $1 cash back) and ‘reserve’ the offer.
- After your purchase, go back in and hit the ‘scan receipt’ button. It’ll scan, then process, then you get the cash back.
Eating healthy AND getting cash back…doesn’t get much better than that, right?
Well…it DOES because I’ve got a free printable Weekly Eating Tracker for you! I’ve been using this to mark the water I drink, what I eat and my calorie intake each day so I can keep myself on track. Download it HERE!

These snacks sound delicious! Snacking is one of the hardest parts for me to control when it comes to weight loss. I’d much rather reach for some salami and cheese than a candy bar. Thanks for sharing! #client
