Less than 3 weeks until Christmas. Yes, you heard right…it’s almost here! With all the busy-ness that comes during the holiday season it can be hard getting a wholesome meal on the table. Not anymore! Now you can Survive the Busy Season with Marie Callender’s Pot Pies!
It’s getting colder here, especially for Texas. It’s only our 2nd winter since we moved from northern Utah…and it’s actually been WARMER there than here. What gives?! Needless to say, I’ve been all for warm, comforting meals lately to help keep the chill away. I don’t have a ton of time to cook everyday, though. We’ve always liked Marie Callender’s meals, and now they have this delicious Family Size Chicken Pot Pie!
Just grab some in the frozen meal section next time you’re at Walmart, keep them stocked in your freezer at home and you’ve got a go-to meal for those nights when you just can’t find the time to cook, or just because you’re in the mood for a tasty Marie Callender’s Chicken Pot Pie!
I was a bit nervous at first that this one pot pie wouldn’t feed my whole family. Two adults, a teenager, and four kids. I had no need to worry, though, because it was plenty! It’s full of homemade gravy mixed with vegetables and all white-meat chicken. I gotta be honest, my favorite part is the golden, perfectly flaky crust that’s made from scratch. So. Dang. Good!
With the recent cold-front moving through, Marie Callender’s Pot Pies are the perfect comfort food to warm you up. Everyone in our family loved it, even all the picky kids! Any meal that’s fast, tastes great to please everyone, and makes a wholesome meal is a definite winner in my book!
