#1 Naukasana or Boat Pose
If somebody tells you that yoga is easy, then ask them to do the boat pose. Simply lie down on your back with your legs together and while keeping your hands to your thighs, inhale and raise your legs and back to form a 30-degree angle. This is an amazing core exercise and your abs will thank you for doing it. A useful tip here is to keep your toes pointing upward to be as efficient as possible.
#2 Setu Bandhana
The second pose on our list is called Setu Bandhana and it’s a great exercise for beginners who are just getting into yoga. Finding the right balance might be tricky at first, but you will quickly get the hang of it. Lie on the ground with your spine erect and hands by your side with the palms facing downwards. Next, bend your leg at the knees while making sure to keep your feet together on the mat. All that is left to do is to slowly lift the hips off the floor while keeping the hands and feet in the same position.
#3 The Cobra Pose
If there is a yoga move that everyone knows and loves, then it has to be the cobra pose. What makes this pose amazing is the fact that it does wonders for back pains. Not just that, but your flexibility will be greatly improved and your shoulders will feel more flexible than ever after doing the cobra pose. Another important benefit that I want to highlight is that your spine will be strengthened and more flexible.
#4 Vrikshasana or the Tree Pose
Yoga is all about core strength and balance. The Vrikshasana pose is going to test your balance. Even though this pose might seem easy at first glance, it can get quite intense after 30 seconds. All your muscles will be flexed and your foot will struggle to find the right balance point. The trick to getting the most out of this pose is to focus your eyes and focus on your breath. Doing this will help you focus on the task ahead and clear your mind.
#5 Ardha Matsyendrasan
The spine is often neglected when doing workouts and due to this, you will regularly get back pains. Fortunately, this is not the case with yoga. This amazing pose is called Ardha Matsyendrasan and it will strengthen your core while also improving the flexibility of your spine. Believe me, you will feel so much better if you start doing this pose on a daily basis.
