Gluten-Free Cherry Cobbler


  • 1 stick butter 8 Tbsp.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup one-to-one gluten-free baking flour *See note.
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cherry pie filling at least 21 oz.


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. While oven is preheating, put stick of butter in a 9 x 11 inch glass baking dish and place in oven for butter to melt. Meanwhile, thoroughly combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add milk and mix well to make a batter. Remove dish from oven when butter has melted. Pour batter into baking dish. Pour cherry pie filling over batter, distributing evenly. Be sure to scrape every bit out of can. ;) Bake for about 40 minutes, til golden brown. Cool for at least 15 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature.
