Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Grease a 9 x 13 glass baking dish with butter. Set aside.

Brown sausage in a skillet.

Pour sausage into baking dish, including any drippings.

Whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, pepper, and salt (I use 1 tsp. salt.)

Pour egg mixture over sausage.

Sprinkle cheese over egg mixture.

Bake 12-15 minutes. (Knife inserted should come out clean.)
