  • 8 ounce Spaghetti or Linguini Noodles Cooked
  • ½ cup Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 3 tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste
  • 1 pound Frozen Lobster
  • 2 tbsp Avocado or Olive Oil
  • Handful of Spinach
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

Step One - Prepare the Lobster

  • Use frozen lobster tails - Cook thawed tails in boiling water, for about 5 minutes.
  • If your lobster still has the shell, remove the shell, and remove the meat from the tail. Slice the meat into 1-inch pieces and set aside

Step 2 - Prepare Butter Sauce

  • In a large pan, melt butter and add mushrooms and cook until brown and reduced. about 3-5 mins.
  • Add in one minced clove of Garlic and honey. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Step 3 - Prepare Noodles

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook your noodles to the package instructions.
  • While the noodles are cooking in a large sauté pan, heat your avocado oil over medium heat and add the rest of the garlic. Cook until fragrant about 30 -60 seconds.
  • Add the lobster meat and sauté for about a min, until it's heated through.
  • Drain the noodles and add them to the lobster mixture.
  • Pour the butter sauce over the noodles and add Parmesan Cheese and stir to combine.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Cooking your lobster - In a large kettle, bring enough water to a boil to cover lobster tails.  Add 1 tbsp salt, if desired, per quart of water. Place thawed tails in boiling water. When water returns to a boil, reduce heat and simmer (do not boil), covered, 5 min and remove from water and let cool to remove meat.

Cooking Tips

Don’t over cook the noodles: There is nothing worse than soggy noodles, there I said it! I like to cook mine until Al Dente

Save a cup of water from the cooked pasta: If you like your pasta more saucy add in a bit of the starchy water when you stir in your butter sauce.

Add more salt: Don’t be shy with the sale and pepper to balance out your dish!
